【摘要】:1.1Thisclassificationsystemcoversthebasicpolymersandcopolymersknownaspolyphenyleneethersandpolyphenyleneoxides,aswellasfilled,modified,andreinforcedversions.Note1Additiontothenaturalpolymerorcopolymerofpigments,colorantsoradditivesmayresultinthefinalcompositionnotmeetingtherequirementsspecifiedforthenaturalpolymerorcopolymer.Discussionswiththesuppliershouldtakeplacebeforespecificationsofalteredcompositionsareestablished.Note2ThepreferredabbreviationforpolyphenyleneetherisPPE,asnotedinTerminologyD1600.1.2Thisclassificationsystemisnotintendedfortheselectionofmaterials,butonlyasameanstocalloutplasticmaterialstobeusedforthemanufactureofparts.Theselectionofthesematerialsistobemadebypersonnelwithexpertiseintheplasticsfieldwheretheenvironment,inherentpropertiesofthematerials,performanceoftheparts,partdesign,manufacturingprocess,andeconomicsareconsidered.1.3Theremaybeotherrequirementsnecessarytoidentifyparticularcharacteristicsimportanttospecificapplications.ThesemaybespecifiedbyusingthesuffixesdescribedinSection.1.4ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Note3NoISOstandardexiststhatcoversthesematerials.
