【摘要】:1.1ThisstandarddetailsarecommendedpracticeforthecalculationoftheEquivalentBoronContent(EBC)valuesforelementsthatareofpotentialsignificanceasthermalneutronpoisons.Thevaluesaredeterminedfromaknowledgeoftheatomicweightofelementsandthethermalneutronabsorptioncrosssectioninbarns.ThispracticeisillustratedbyusingtheEBCfactorsofTable1whicharebasedonthermalneutron(2200m/s)absorptioncrosssections.OtherEBCfactorsmaybeuseddependingupontheactualneutronenergycharacteristicsoftheapplicablereactorsystem.1.2ThefollowingelementsdonotrequiretobeincludedintheEBCcalculations,astheirEBCfactorsarelessthanorequalto0.0001:aluminum;fluorine;rubidium;barium;lead;silicon;beryllium;neon;tin;bismuth;oxygen;zirconium;carbon;magnesium;cerium;phosphorus.Theircontributiontothetotalpoisoneffectisnotconsideredsignificant.
